Ideal for small office

This ASUS DSLN10 modem router is a good solution for small offices with two or four computers using network cable or even more by adding a switch for reliable data transfer.

In some businesses there is certain application that requires a highly reliable connection to the computers that can only be done by a network cable, hence the LAN network using a cable is still needed. As for mobile devices can use the wifi so that users can connect to your business network in order to remain productive without having to sit on the table which is limited by the certain distance, where they can still work with a tablet computer or laptop or even with their Android devices.

One feature that makes this device very good for your business is the support for multiple SSIDs so you can create network segregations up to four separate wifi networks for security reasons. Asus DSLN10 Indeed is not based on high speed wireless N600 or N900 technology, but for the needs of small offices wireless N150 is able to meet your standard networking tasks with good performance.

Networking diagram

The figure below shows a wireless networking diagram that uses this type of modem router (Asus DSL-N10 ADSL modem router). Connect the ADSL line to the phone line and locate the router in the central of the house to allow other computers easily access wirelessly to the network.

Should you require a shared printer, you need to purchase separate wireless print server such as Linksys printer server adapter.

Asus DSL-N10 B1 and E series

Another variant of Asus DSLN10 series is the B1 series which is the same as the first one above but can be used as a normal wireless router using Ewan port to connect to a cable modem. Other facilities can be used exactly the same except can be operated in one of two modes either ADSL modem router or as a standalone wireless router.

One more thing that is the same i.e. the E series, Asus DSLN10E has a difference with the included a WPS button for secure connection with three easy steps.

Design of the latter two modems is more elegant similar to the model of wireless routers Black diamond series, black sweet with one external antenna.
